雾灵山自然保护区 河北省自然保护区。1982年建立，1988年划为国家级自然保护区。 位于省境北部偏东， 兴隆县、滦平县、承德县和北京市密云县境内。大致呈东北-西南走向，海拔700～1000米,多1500米以上的山峰，主峰最高点玉皇顶2116米，为燕山山脉主峰。雾灵山主要由花岗岩组成,褶皱断层发育，切割强烈,悬崖峭壁，谷深坡陡。秋晴朗凉爽，冬寒冷干燥，春短促多风，夏温和多雨。由于夏雨多，湿度大，终日云雾缭绕。山区属温带半湿润气候。动植物资源丰富。植被属夏绿阔叶林。清为皇陵禁地,灌木丛生，古树参天。20世纪20年代尽遭破坏,现有植被皆为次生林,垂直分布较明显:1750米以上为亚高山草甸灌丛；1500～1750米是以华北落叶松、白杄、青杄为主的落叶松云杉林带;至950米为以桦树、山杨为主的阔叶林带，并有栎、榆、槭、椴等树种，此外有"水果之王"的猕猴桃;900米左右为油松栎类林；优势种为油松、蒙古栎；900米以下则为农耕地区。约有500种植物,其中乔、灌木达100余种。有动物60余种，如直隶猴、麝、狐、熊、豹、化鱼等。雾灵山多名胜古迹，山林水石奇特，为河北省风景游览区。
