聚-α-甲基苯乙烯分子式:CAS号:性质:由α-甲基苯乙烯单体聚合而得的高聚物。产品性能和用途因聚合度不同而异。以过氧化物为引发剂均聚不能得到高分子量聚合物,而在Friedel-Craft催化剂作用下可得到高聚合度的树脂。聚-α-甲基苯乙烯树脂可制成各种制品,其性能较聚苯乙烯熔融黏度大,耐溶剂性好,伸长率低,硬度高。低分子量产物可作为乙烯树脂的辅助增塑剂和增韧剂,具有优良的光热稳定性、耐化学药品性、电绝缘性和耐迁移性。另外,用作聚苯乙烯与干性油的改性剂亦是其主要用途之一。
