水杉硬枝扦插育苗法水杉扦插育苗多采用遮阴方法。这需要用遮阳网，每天还要揭盖遮阴棚。水杉硬枝扦插全光育苗的试验研究表明，采用适当的方法，一般成活率可达90%以上。一、精细整地育苗地需地势平坦，土壤深厚、排灌方便。一般土地冬前深翻，解冻后把土地转细拍平，每亩施磷肥10至15公斤，畦宽1.5至1.7米，畦长视插穗多少而定，行距12至15厘米，株距3厘米，每亩插1.7万株。二、采穗贮藏水杉插穗用2至3年生母树侧枝上采集的当年生木质化的枝条，成活率较高。母树年龄增加，则硬枝扦插成活率降低。1、采穗时间：每年12月底至2月上旬最佳。选择项芽丰满当年生枝条，长度15至18厘米为宜。2、插穗贮藏：约以100枝为一捆，底部理平贮藏在湿黄沙内，厚度约5厘米左右。黄沙湿度以手握之成团，放之散开为好。沙藏后为防止失水，上面盖地膜保湿。沙藏期间要经常检查干湿情况及地膜通风处理工作。三、扦插要领水杉硬枝扦插时间在3月中下旬至4月上旬结束。整好畦面后，边上水边扦插。以浆插为主。插条的2/3插入土壤，1/3露出地面。一畦插好后再浇足水。一周后由于浆插之故，苗床行间会产生土壤板结或龟裂，需及时中耕松土1至2次，然后在插条行间以稻草覆盖，不露畦土为宜，每亩用草约300公斤左右，使之保湿和增加地温，促其发叶生根。四、水肥管理水杉扦插假活期较长(将近两个月)，从扦插到生根一般要历时2至3个月。此时光照强、温度高、蒸发量大，因此，管好水是全光育苗成败的关键。要根据水杉特点，采取“勤浇水”的办法，四五月份苗木发芽期必须浇一次水，五六月份生根期一般10天浇一次水，七八月份生长盛期每周浇一次肥水，8月下旬以后减少浇水次数。7月下旬苗高达20厘米左右，进行第一次以水带肥，用肥量为每亩lO公斤碳铵并加1:800倍敌百虫水溶液或呋喃丹同时施下，防治地下害虫。以后每10至15天施一次肥，至10月中旬停止施肥。（来源：中国花卉报2003-07-22）
