楸树楸树Catalpabungei;chinesecatalpa紫葳科梓树属落叶乔木。广泛分布于中国黄河流域、长江流域沟谷与山坡中下部。木材软硬适中、不翘、耐腐,为高级家具及室内装修用材;树皮、叶、种子可入药;为优良用材树及四旁绿化树种。树高30米。主干通直。单叶、大形,3枚轮生,稀对生,三角状卵形或长卵形。花大形,成顶生总状花序。蒴果细长,似豇豆状,二瓣裂,种子多数。种子两端翅状,有白色纤维质丝状长毛(见图)。喜光。喜温暖湿润气候,不耐寒冷。适深厚肥沃、疏松的土壤,不耐水湿。稍耐盐碱。生长较快,寿命长。主根明显,侧根粗壮,萌蘖力强。繁殖多用埋根方法,种根在春季或秋季从大树根部挖取,春季平埋或斜埋土中。在有结实母树的地方,可用播种育苗方法。春季播种,采用低床、条播。用1年生或2年生苗木在春季或秋季造林,密度宜稍大。也可用萌芽更新或利用根蘖苗分栽。嫁接、扦插方法也有应用。图片小叶楸树
