诸宫调诸宫调中国宋代说唱伎艺。因集若干套不同宫调的曲子轮递歌唱，故名。相传为孔三传首创。将唐宋大曲、词调、缠达、缠令、唱赚以及北方乐曲，按其声律高低归入不同的宫调，用来说唱故事。诸宫调以唱为主，每段曲词唱完后有较短的说白，以便另起宫调接唱下去。曲词可长可短，比较灵活；又可用一、二套曲子连续演唱长篇故事，容量极大，状物写景，绘声绘色，语言通俗生动，在艺术上超越了以往的各种说唱艺术，获得了人们的喜爱。北宋末年是诸宫调的鼎盛期。南宋初，传至南方，由于曲调腔谱的变化，出现了南诸宫调，南戏《张协状元》中有一段诸宫调曲词即是。宋末元初，仍有冲州撞府的流动诸宫调班子在活动，到元末，已罕有人能解者，诸宫调渐趋衰落。现代诸宫调作品保存最为完整者为金人董解元的《西厢记诸宫调》，残缺不全者为《刘知远诸宫调》。诸宫调的出现，为后世戏曲音乐开辟了道路，其演唱方式，早期用鼓、板、笛等伴奏，后来又增加弦索乐器琵琶、筝等，特别是套曲的形式，对元杂剧的音乐有直接影响。
