载热体  换热操作中专门用以运载热量的工作介质。温度高于被加热流体物料的载热体用以提供热量,称为加热剂;温度低于被冷却流体物料的载热体用以吸收热量,称为载冷剂或冷却剂。载热体的选择,主要取决于加热或冷却所要达到的温度、同时还要考虑温度调节的方便,以及载热体的热容、蒸气压、冰点、热稳定性、毒性、腐蚀性和价格等因素。    饱和蒸汽、水和空气是最常用的载热体。饱和蒸汽在冷凝时能够放出大量潜热,无毒,能准确调节加热温度而不易使被加热物料发生局部过热,是应用最广的加热剂;但加热温度不够高,通常不超过250°C,否则蒸气压过高。热水和热空气也是常用的载热体。常温下的水和空气,方便易得,是应用最广的冷却剂;但其冷却效果随季节而变。水作为冷却剂的使用温度,不能低于0°C。    工业上常用的高温载热体有:①矿物油,如重油、汽缸油、润滑油等,最高使用温度在敞开系统约为 250°C,在封闭系统约为320°C;②过热水,最高使用温度可达水的临界温度374°C,但此时压力高达22.5MPa;③有机载热体,常用的是26.5%联苯和73.5%二苯醚的混合物,最高使用温度可达380°C;④熔盐混合物,常用的熔盐是亚硝酸盐和硝酸盐的混合物,使用温度可达540°C;⑤液态金属,如汞、铅或钠钾合金等,主要用于核工业中。这些载热体视使用场合的不同,既可用于加热,也可用于冷却。
