耳穴　　指分布在耳廓上的腧穴。耳廓，从全息现象来认识是一个倒置的胎儿，所以耳穴的分布与胎儿的结构相似。一般来说，与头面部相应的耳穴位于耳垂，与上肢相应的耳穴位于耳舟，与躯干、下肢相应的耳穴位于对耳轮及其上下脚，与内脏相应的耳穴多位于耳甲艇和耳甲腔(图1～3)。　　　　名称与部位　20世纪80年代以来，中国加强了耳穴的研究与应用，耳穴治疗的适应症不断扩大，已由几十种发展到100多种，耳针麻醉在中国针刺麻醉领域中占有相当比重。1982年中国成立了耳针协作组，1987年成立了全国耳穴研究会。1992年，发布中华人民共和国国家标准"耳穴名称与部位"。按GB/T13734－92国家标准，耳穴为91个。
　　　　耳针疗法　①毫针法：以直径032毫米、长度13毫米毫针，直刺(也可根据耳穴部位的特点和病情需要进行斜刺或横刺)相应耳穴，深度以4～8毫米有感觉即可。进针前须先行常规消毒，术者右手拇、食、中指持针，左手拇、食二指固定耳廓，取穴进针。进针后，小幅度捻转或提插，并留针，留针时间根据需要决定(见毫针)。最后出针，并压迫片刻，以免出血。②皮内针法：先将耳穴部皮肤常规消毒，然后将揿针埋于耳穴处，再在埋针处贴一小块胶布(见皮内针)。③三棱针法(见三棱针)。④皮肤针法(见皮肤针)。⑤艾条温和灸法(见艾条灸)。⑥敷贴法：一般用中药王不留行子敷贴，也可用白芥子、急性子、绿豆等。也有用磁珠(磁铁粉制成的圆珠)的。先行常规消毒，左手托住耳廓，右手用止血钳将粘有上述圆形颗粒物的胶布对准所选耳穴贴压，并用手指轻压耳穴1～2分钟。一般留压3天，每天上、下午由患者自行轻压敷贴部位各一次，每次1分钟左右。此外，还有在耳穴上进行按摩、电针、磁疗、药物注射、激光照射等方法。 　　　　注意事项　除必须注意有关治疗的各事项外，主要须防止耳廓感染和晕针。①针具、药子、磁珠等器具必须严格消毒，耳穴局部皮肤常规消毒。②出针时，在局部涂以2.5%碘酒。如有出血，可先压迫止血，再擦碘酒。③夏季敷贴药子、磁珠时，耳穴不宜过多，时间不宜过长。④换贴药子时，休息一天为宜，将耳部胶布膏痕迹擦净，以免皮肤感染。⑤用皮内针、三棱针、皮肤针等刺激耳穴后，尽量不要淋洗耳廓局部。⑥如治疗后耳穴局部红肿、破损，或伴有少量渗出，则为耳廓皮肤感染。严重时可出现局部化脓、红肿热痛，伴恶寒发热、血白细胞增加，为耳廓软骨膜炎，需进行及时处理。皮肤感染可照射氦-氖激光；或用清热解毒中药内服、外洗。耳廓软骨膜炎可用艾条灸大椎、曲池或耳穴局部；积脓者应配合排脓方法；炎症显著者可用抗生素或清热解毒中药。　　　　　　适应范围　①各种疼痛性病症，如软组织损伤、手术后疼痛、头痛、面痛、胁痛、蛇丹、腰腿痛、关节痛。②各种内脏病症，如眩晕、失眠、阳痿、遗精、月经不调、哮喘、泄泻、便秘、瘿、消渴、肥胖、小儿遗尿。③各种热病，如感冒、百日咳、丹痧、疟疾、痢疾等。④皮肤病和五官病，如风疹、湿疹、目赤肿痛、牙痛、口疮、耳内流脓、乳蛾、喉痹等。此外，还可用于戒烟、戒酒、戒毒和催产、催乳等。其中有许多病症可单独用本疗法，有的则宜配合其他疗法进行治疗。耳针疗法还可用于外科手术麻醉(见针刺麻醉)。　　　　　　禁忌症　①外耳湿疹、溃疡、冻疮溃破等情况不宜用。②严重器质性疾病，如高度贫血、心脏病等不宜用。③妇女怀孕期间须慎用，有习惯性流产史的孕妇当禁用。
