雄黄雄黄realgar一种砷的硫化物(As2S3)矿物。又称鸡冠石。含砷70.0%,主要用作提取砷和砷化物,是制造颜料、焰火、玻璃等的原料,也用它作解毒、杀菌中药。单斜晶系,晶体呈短柱状,板状解理完好。集合体成粒状、块状或皮壳状,性脆。多数橘红色,条痕淡橘红色。半透明。晶面具金刚光泽,断口呈树脂光泽。莫氏硬度1.5~2,比重3.5。熔点低(310℃),灼烧时放出蒜臭味。长期暴露于日光下会分解成橙黄色粉末。多是低温热液作用或火山喷气、温泉沉淀形成。常与雌黄、辉锑矿共生。中国湖南慈利、石门交界的雄黄为世界之最。罗马尼亚、德国、瑞士等国也为主要产地。雄黄
