伏生伏生中国西汉经学家。即伏胜。济南(今山东章丘西)人。早年任秦博士,专治《尚书》,是西汉今文《尚书》最早的讲授者,今本今文《尚书》28篇,即由他保存,流传至今。秦始皇焚书时,他将《尚书》藏匿于壁中。汉初废除《挟书律》后,从壁中取出,亡失数十篇,仅得20余篇。开始在齐、鲁之间讲授。一说他并没有《尚书》,只是凭记忆口授。汉文帝时,在全国征求能读《尚书》的人,寻访到伏生,其时他年已90余,不能应诏赴京,于是朝廷派太常掌故晁错前去受业。但是,把《尚书》传授下来的还是他的学生济南张生和欧阳生。伏生所藏的《尚书》原本,原是用秦朝通行的小篆写的,他传授时改用了汉代通行的隶书,因此,等到用古文写定的经书出现以后,便被称为今文。相传伏生还作《尚书大传》,其实是他去世后张生、欧阳生或后来的博士们辑录所闻而成。取材伏生授经故事的《伏生授经图》(明 崔子忠)
