竹林竹林bamboo forest  zhUlin竹林(banlboo forest)由禾本科竹亚科的植物为单优势种而组成的木本状多年生常绿森林类型。 全世界的竹类植物约有62属,1《X幻种以上,面积1粼刃万公顷左右。亚洲有竹类37属,700多种,面积约为1以X)万公顷,为世界之冠。中国的竹类资源丰富,约有27属,300多种,面积379、08万公顷,居亚洲第一;其中毛竹林面积最大,占全国竹林面积70%以上。 竹林根据其地下茎的生活型可分为单轴生竹林、合轴生竹林和复轴混生竹林。按竹林对生态环境的适应性,又可分为湿性竹林、暖性竹林和热性竹林等3大类。 竹林的形成主要为无性繁殖,它是通过地下茎的节处侧芽伸出地表形成竹笋,生长增大发育成为竹秆,一般情况下,随着地下茎的扩大、延伸,面积不断增大,逐渐形成以单优势种组成的竹林群落。此外,竹林在亚热带和热带常混生于各类常绿阔黔::画册》’叶林中。 竹林的用途较广,可作为建筑、造纸原料或用于编织用具,竹笋可食用;有的竹类可作为庭园观赏植物。 中国的竹林地理分布范围很广,生长迅速,经济价值高;除天然竹林外,还有大量的人工竹林,各种竹林已成为中国重要的森林资源(参见彩图插页第52页)。(邓坤枚)
