β-catenin分子式:CAS号:性质:原癌基因编码的蛋白质,参与钙依黏附蛋白(cadehrin)胞内结构域介导的信号转导的重要分子。正常细胞内它的浓度较低。在由它介导信号转导的结果中都发现APC(adenomatous polyposis coli,是一种肿瘤抑制蛋白质),是一个β-连蛋白信号转导的负调节剂。显然β-连蛋白在恶性肿瘤病因研究领域中占有相当重要的地位。一旦APC或β连蛋白发生突变,即可发生信号转导减弱,细胞增殖加快与抑制细胞凋亡等作用,这是至今所了解的正常细胞发生恶变的β-连蛋白作用分子机制。
