血管内皮生长因子分子式：CAS号：性质：又称血管通透因子(vascular permeability factor)。1989首先从牛垂体滤泡状细胞培养液中分离纯化。有四种不同形式，成熟单体，分别为121，165，189和206个氨基酸，目前分离得到的VEGF，均由两个相同多肽链通过二硫键构成的同源二聚体，亚基分子量18 000～24 000，总蛋白分子量34 000～46 000。蛋白质表面有许多阳离子，呈强碱性，等电点高，对酸碱热稳定。VEGF是一类糖蛋白，可与肝素结合，多糖链仅与其分泌功能有关，与生物活性无关。VEGF 121/165为可溶性分泌蛋白。VEGF 189/206几乎都结合在质膜或基底膜上的含有肝素的蛋白聚糖上。四种VEGF的生物活性无明显差异。VEGF是一类多功能生长因子，能特异性作用于血管内皮细胞，强烈促进其增殖，促进血管形成，并有升高血管通透性的作用。多种细胞有分泌VEGF的功能，并通过旁分泌方式作用于血管内皮细胞。对血管内皮细胞的促有丝分裂作用十分强烈，可明显促进血管生成，能引起血管通透性增加，且是最强烈的引起血管通透性增加的物质。1nmol/L即可起作用，为组胺的50 000倍。用于心血管疾病、肿瘤、创伤修复等。
