负增强子分子式:CAS号:性质:对基因转录起负调节作用的增强子,首先是在干扰素-β的研究中发现。在干扰素-β调节元件(IRE)(-77~-36bp)这一区域3′,末端19bp缺失时,在干扰素诱生剂存在的情况下,导致干扰素mRNA大量升高,因而认为这一区域含有负控制序列,而5’末端是正控制序列,起典型的增强子作用。在牛乳头状病毒中进行干扰素-β基因表达试验时,将IRE置于TK启动子与干扰素-β结构基因旁边,发现干扰素-β表达水平显著下降,当用干扰素诱生剂处理这种重组病毒DNA转录的细胞时,上述的负调节效应被解除,干扰素-β又大量表达。
