控制生态系实验 在人为控制条件下，研究某一自然水生生态系的结构、功能及其变化规律的一种实验方法。又称围隔式生态系实验。利用这种装置可以从浩瀚的海洋中分离出一块完整的环境，因之也称为微宇宙。它可用来研究海洋环境科学、海洋化学和海洋生态学等领域的许多理论和实践问题。 控制生态系实验装置，最初是为了进行浮游生物自然生态研究而建立的。20世纪60年代中期以来，由于海洋污染日趋严重，污染对海洋生态系的影响成了人们关注的新课题，开展了现场调查和室内模拟实验。但室内实验大多是用单一生物种类、单一污染物进行，所用污染物浓度偏大、时间又短，所得结果难以解释自然界的实况。现场调查，又因自然因素复杂多变，除了灾害性污染事故外，很难区分污染和自然因素对生态系的影响。为了阐明慢性污染对生态系的影响，必须有新的实验方法和装置。1972年，控制生态系污染实验（简称CEPEX）被正式列入国际海洋考察十年研究规划中，美国、加拿大、日本等国，利用建在加拿大维多利亚萨尼奇内湾的CEPEX 装置，开展了外加污染物汞、铜、铅、石油等对实验装置中自然生态系结构影响的研究工作。随后有更多的国家建立了类似的实验装置，除继续进行有关污染实验外，还进行了海-气界面、水-沉积物界面相互关系、化学海洋学和生物海洋学等的研究。中国国家海洋局第三海洋研究所、山东海洋学院和厦门大学等单位同加拿大科学家合作，于1984～1987年在厦门进行围隔式生态系实验工作。 围隔式实验装置有多种类型，但目前最流行的是用乳白色、透明、柔软、无毒的聚乙烯制的大塑料袋装置（见图）。能装水几十吨到2000多吨不等，在污染的研究方面，以盛水60吨的装置较普遍。 实验装置,通常安放在风浪较小，海流流速较低,水较深，远离污染源、且对该海区的自然生态系已有一定了解的水域。 实验方法大致是：将塑料袋及其组件运到指定海区后，由潜水员将塑料袋由下往表层拉起来，其中应尽量保证各水层生态结构的完整性；在加入污染物前，先对袋内生物种类及理化因子进行测定，添加污染物后，再定期观察和测定。实验周期一般视实验生物的生活周期及其世代而定。 目前所用的这些实验装置都将内外水体隔开，缺乏正常的平流、紊流和盐度等自然变化，系统内动植物也不能象正常情况下活动，所以实验获得的结果尚不能完全反映自然条件下生态系的动态；大型实验装置经费昂贵，对实验现场条件要求也高。除应继续改进实验装置外，还应根据研究课题实际需要选择尽可能小的装置。 参考书目 George D.Grice， Michael R.
