大甲溪梯级水电站  台湾省水能资源最丰富又得到充分开发的梯级水电站。位于台湾中西部。大甲溪发源于中央山脉,向西注入南海,全长124km,平均坡降1:60。流域面积1272km2,年雨量1500~2500mm之间。流域地形可分成三区:上游段开扩平坦,森林茂密;中游段多山,河道狭窄,对水电开发十分有利;下游段为大片平原和台中市等工业城市,需要灌溉和供水。自20世纪50年代初开始,得到重点开发,到70年代末,全溪流已建成4座梯级水电站和1座供工农业用水的水库(见图),其主要特性指标见表。     梯级中各电站总装机容量达87.4kW。大甲溪的开发,不仅为地区工农业提供了大量电力,还为防洪和农田灌溉、城市供水等发挥了重大作用。
