光学位相复共轭 对光波的波阵面(或位相)进行的反演处理。当这种处理是通过光波与物质的非线性相互作用来实现时,就称为非线性光学位相复共轭。在数学上这等价于对复空间振幅进行复共轭运算,因此位相复共轭波等价于时间反演波。 对光波能实现位相复共轭作用的光学系统称为位相共轭镜。位相共轭镜与普通反射镜具有不同的性质。附图解释了当一个理想的平面波阵面通过一个位相畸变介质后,由位相共轭或普通反射镜反射回再次通过位相畸变介质后,波阵面的变化情况。由于前者能使入射的波阵面反演,故反射光束再次通过位相畸变介质后,波阵面又恢复成平面;而对于普通反射镜,反射光束再次通过畸变介质后,位相畸变加倍。理想的位相共轭镜还能够反演入射波的偏振态。对于无损耗的共轭镜,可以反演入射光子的所有量子数,即反演入射光子的线动量、角动量等。 有两类非线性相互作用可以获得入射波的位相共轭波:一类是弹性光散射,这是一种参量过程,各相互作用波场通过非线性介质相互耦合;另一类是非弹性光散射,是受激散射过程。 获得位相共轭波的参量过程主要有三波混频和四波混频(见光学混频)。非弹性光散射方法包括受激喇曼散射、受激布里渊散射和受激瑞利散射。 利用一些固定的光学元件也能实现波阵面反演,这称为准共轭器。 光学位相复共轭技术可用以补偿光束通过光纤、大气及高功率激光放大器链传输时引起的位相畸变;在实时适应光学、信息储存和处理、图象传输、光计算机、超低噪声探测、干涉计量、投影光刻、材料的研究及军事上有广泛的潜在应用。 参考书目 R.A.Fisher, ed., Optical Phase Conjugation,Academic Press,New York, 1983.
