喀斯特高原迪纳拉山脉中的喀斯特高原。在克罗地亚伊斯的利亚半岛北部,由意大利边境向东南延伸约80公里,直抵克万尼亚湾。海拔900米左右,主要由石灰岩组成。受地中海式气候影响,石灰岩地形发育典型,有地下水系、盲谷、溶蚀洼地、溶洞、石林、石芽、溶斗、落水洞等主要类型。十九世纪末,西方学者鉴于喀斯特高原上石灰岩侵蚀地貌最为典型,遂以”喀斯特”命名这种地貌,并得到国际上通用。有著名的波斯托依那溶洞。
