固定汇率（fixedrate） 浮动汇率的对称。某一国家的货币与别的国家之间的货币兑换比率基本不变、或其变动被限制在一定幅度内的汇率。可分为金本位制下的固定汇率和纸币流通下的固定江率两种。在金本控制下，以货币的含金量作为制定汇率的基础，对比不同货币的含金量来制定不同货币之间的汇率。黄金输送点是汇率波动的界限。第二次世界大呀以后到70年代初期，国际货币基金组织会员国实行纸币流通下的固定汇率，各国货币根据其含金量与美元建立固定比价，汇率波动的法不定期上下限为金平价的1，当某国货币汇率波动超过这一限度时，该国货币当局有义务干涉外汇市场，使汇率波动限制在规定的幅度内。到70年代初期以后，随着美元的一再贬值，固定汇率制逐步趋于崩溃。
