吕梁战役 解放战争时期，中国人民解放军晋冀鲁豫军区和晋绥军区部队各一部在晋西南地区对国民党军进行的进攻战役。1946年11月上旬,国民党军第1战区司令长官胡宗南抽调驻晋南地区的2个整编师西渡黄河,准备会同包围陕甘宁解放区的部队突袭中国共产党中央机关所在地延安，在吕梁地区各县仅留正规军1个团及保安团队共1万余人驻守。 为打破国民党军突袭延安的计划，并巩固、发展吕梁解放区,晋冀鲁豫野战军第4纵队并指挥太岳军区第24旅，遵照中共中央军委的指示，挺进吕梁地区，在晋绥军区独立第4旅和第359旅的配合下，于11月22日发起吕梁战役。至12月12日，连克永和、 大宁、隰县、 蒲县、石楼、中阳等城。17日,胡宗南急令已渡黄河入陕的2个整编师回返,连同原驻晋南的部队共6个旅的兵力向蒲县、大宁等地反扑。中共中央军委决定：由第 4纵队司令员陈赓、政治委员谢富治和晋绥军区第2纵队（由第359旅、独立第4旅组成)司令员兼政治委员王震统一指挥在吕梁地区作战的部队,继续歼敌,以钳制胡宗南部的兵力。12月17日～1947年1月1日，人民解放军在蒲县西北地区给了进犯的国民党军以沉重打击，并乘其撤退之机歼灭后卫第67旅大部。此役,人民解放军共歼敌1万余人，解放了晋西南广大地区，推迟了国民党军突袭延安的计划。
