阳极阳极anode yQngJI阳极(a node)电解槽中与电源正极相联的电极。电源电流沿外电路经阳极进入电解槽。而电子运动方向与电流相反,它在外电源作用下离开阳极,经外电路流向阴极去。阳极由于电子流走而总是显得电子匾乏,因而在其上进行释放电子的氧化过程。 根据阳极物质在电解中有无变化,分为可溶阳极和不溶阳极两类。电解精炼、电镀、电解造液(见铜电解液净化)用的阳极,属可溶阳极。它们在电解进行中不断发生电化学溶解,最后成为残极。人造或天然的重金属硫化物阳极(见硫化镶电解精炼),也是能电化溶解的,电解时在阴极上获得相应的金属。电解提取所用阳极为不溶阳极,它们或者本身就是电花学惰性物质,如石墨、铂等;或者经过钝化处理,变得不会发生电化学溶解。不溶阳极不参加电化学阳极反应,仅起导电的作用,从电极的本质上讲,应称为其上电解产物的电极(如析出氧气时为0。/H20电极等)。 工业用不溶阳极种类繁多,石墨不溶阳极是很重要的一种,广泛用于氯碱工业和有色金属的电解。不锈钢、钦、铅一银合金和铅一锑合金阳极,也是有色金属电化冶金中常用的不溶阳极。钢铁不溶阳极适用于碱性电解液的场合。有的不溶阳极由几种材料复合制成,称为复合阳极。例如,20世纪70年代初开发的Ti一Tio:-RuOZ一Ir02复合阳极,就属典型的复合阳极。这种复合阳极具有尺寸稳定、工业寿命特长(sa以上)和电催化性能的特点,是迄今性能最优异的不溶阳极,正在迅速取代食盐电解用石墨阳极,也开始用于钻的电解提取。
