粉末烧结气氛粉末烧结气氛powder sintering atmosphere tenmo shaoJ一eq一fen粉末烧结气氛(powde:Sintering atmo-sphere)粉末烧结时,烧结炉内的实际气氛。烧结气氛分为保护气氛、可控气氛和空气。 保护气氛用于保护烧结制品不受氧化的气氛。保护气氛分为还原性气氛和中性气氛。 还原性气氛有氢气、分解氨。(1)氢气。氢气在一定温度下具有很强的渗透性,是一种化学活性和对氧的亲和力均很强的可燃性无毒气体。氢在粉末冶金中,一方面可用作多种金属氧化物的还原剂,另一方面可用作多种粉末冶金材料和制品烧结和热处理的保护气氛。例如,钨、铝等难熔金属及硬质合金等的烧结,一般都用氢作保护气氛。尽管世界上90%以上的氢气是用夭然气和石油转化制取的,但水电解制氢技术可靠,操作维护简便。因此,粉末冶金中使用的氢气一般都是用水电解法制取的,其缺点是耗电多,成本较高。水电解制氢时,在阴极上析出氢,在阳极上析出氧。已商品化的水电解槽采用25%~30%KOH作电解液,氢气纯度高于99.7%,氧气纯度高于99.5%。(2)分解氨。分解氨是液氨经热分解所得的由氢和氮组成的混合气体,在粉末冶金中可用来作为还原剂,除某些含有与氮发生反应的成分的材料外,对其他材料的烧结也可用作保护气氛。氨在平常情况下是有刺激性臭味的无色气体。氨很容易液化,在常温加压时就可液化成液氨,液氨经气化后,在一定温度和催化剂的作用下分解而成氢与氮的混合气体,其反应式为:ZNH。一3H:+NZ。氨分解气氛的成分理论上是75环H:和25%N:。 中性气氛粉末冶金中使用的中性气氛有氮气、氨气、氦气以及真空等。可控气氛可以控制碳势或露点的气氛。可控气氛分为放热型气氛和吸热型气氛。 放热型气氛一种不需从外部供热的,由碳氢化合物气转化成的裂化气。其主要成分由co、cOZ、HZ、NZ、CH4等组成,它是一种可控气氛,但碳势较低,C02含量较高,而具有脱碳作用。根据空气与原料气不同的混合比,又有淡型和浓型气氛之分,淡型放热气氛中CO::CO=7一8.5;浓型放热气氛中CO::CO=0. 476一0. 716。淡型放热气氛的碳势很低,只能用作低碳钢、铜制品的无氧化加热气氛,而浓型放热气氛的碳势比较高一些,用作可控气氛时可以防止粉末冶金铁基、铜基零件的氧化和减少铁基零件的脱碳。放热型气氛的成分举例如下:一种原料气为甲烷的淡型放热气氛,含:10.5线COZ,1.5纬CO,1.2%HZ,余量NZ;一种原料气为甲烷的浓型放热气氛,含:5%COZ,10.5%CO,12·5%H:,0.5%CH‘,余量NZ。如果用净化方法除去其中的CO:和HZO,便可制成含CO和H:的氮基净化放热型气氛,这种净化气氛在粉末冶金中的应用可进一步扩大。
