五氧化二钒五氧化二钒vanadiumpentoxide化学式V2O5。橙黄或砖红色固体。无臭、无味、有毒性。熔点690℃,密度3.357克/厘米3。熔体冷却时析出橙红色针状晶体,在1750℃时分解。微溶于水,生成淡黄色酸性溶液。五氧化二钒是两性氧化物,酸性大于碱性,溶于强碱生成钒酸盐,溶于强酸形成钒氧离子VO或VO3+。偏钒酸铵热分解或三氯氧钒与水作用都可制得五氧化二钒:2NH4VO3V2O5+2NH3+H2O2VOCl3+3HO2V2O5+6HCl五氧化二钒主要用作接触法制硫酸的催化剂,也可做多种有机化合物氧化反应的催化剂,如蒽氧化为蒽醌等。还用于制造彩色玻璃和陶瓷。
