灵岩寺 中国古代佛教寺院建筑。在山东省长清县东南25公里的方山之阳。创建于东晋苻秦永兴年间 (357～ 358),北魏太武帝太平真君后期(446～451)被毁。孝明帝正光(520～525)时，重建今寺于东北甘露泉之西。唐初迁建至今址。北宋时扩建，殿宇愈益宏壮。唐宋时，曾被世人誉为中国四大丛林之一。1982年中华人民共和国国务院公布为全国重点文物保护单位。 寺依山构筑，主要建筑物大致分布在一条中轴线上，自南而北，依次有金刚殿、天王殿、大雄宝殿、五花殿、千佛殿、辟支塔、御书阁等。寺西为墓塔林，有唐至清各代本寺住持墓塔 167座，碑刻志铭81通。山巅唐初所凿的积翠证明龛，内有石雕弥勒1尊、菩萨2身。弥勒高5 米，仪容庄重，保存完好。 千佛殿创建于唐贞观中,宋嘉祐六年(1061)重修,梁架上存有"时大明万历岁次丁亥九月八日德府重修"墨书。单檐庑殿顶，面阔七间，进深四间，斗栱疏朗，出檐深远，面貌古朴雄伟。前檐 8根石柱，有精美莲花或龙凤柱础，仍为唐宋故物。殿内迎门台座上置 3尊大像:中为毗卢,藤胎髹漆；左为药师,右为弥陀，皆范铜为之。殿壁装有千佛。周壁前台座上置40尊彩塑罗汉像，高约1.55米,风格写实,比例协调，姿态各异，刻划入微，年代有宋、元、明、清诸说。1982年对罗汉维修时，在西第17尊体腔内，发现宋治平三年(1066)六月齐州临邑盖忠立墨书题名；另有10尊体腔内发现宋镜12面：3 尊中发现古钱78枚，其中五铢 1枚，开元通宝16枚，其余均为宋钱，最晚者为仁宗嘉祐通宝，为宋塑说提供了实物依据。 御书阁始建于唐，后世屡有重修。原有唐太宗和宋太宗、真宗、仁宗等御书。金贞祐中毁于兵火。阁壁嵌有历代石刻多块，以宋蔡大《圆通经》、《楞严经》为最著。 辟支塔创建于宋淳化五年至嘉祐二年(994～ 1057)，八角，九级十二檐(1～3层为重檐，余为单檐)，通高54米。其座为石构，已埋于地下。塔身为砖砌，顶端置高耸铁刹，秀拔雄峻。 灵岩寺内外，现存碑石摩崖题刻凡 423块，著名的碑石有唐天宝元年 (742)书法家李邕撰书的《灵岩寺颂碑》，元顺帝至正元年(1341) 《大元国师法旨碑》 等。《大元国师法旨碑》藏汉文对照，为元代官方文献中使用藏文仅见之例。《息庵碑》为日本僧人邵元撰书。邵元,号古源,求法来中国21年，曾任少林寺首座僧职，此碑是历史上中日友好往来的珍贵史料。 1950年维修千佛殿，并设置玻璃橱保护殿内罗汉像。以后30多年间，对千佛殿作了 5次维修，并陆续修整加固了辟支塔、慧崇塔、大雄殿、鼓楼、御书阁、山门和天王殿。1981～1983年，对千佛殿内的宋塑罗汉，用现代技术与传统技术相结合的做法作了加固修复。
