润滑系统 发动机中供应滑油（润滑剂）的系统。用于向轴承和齿轮的摩擦面供给滑油，起冷却和润滑作用，防止零件锈蚀，并带走杂质。 润滑系统由油泵、油滤、喷嘴、油气分离器和散热器组成。油泵包括用于滑油增压的齿轮泵和收油的回油泵。回油中掺有大量空气，所以回油泵的总流量比增压泵要大几倍。油滤用于清除杂质，一般为网格式。增压油路内的油滤装有旁路活门，可在油滤堵塞或低温起动时保证正常供油。有时在回油泵前装有磁性堵头式检屑器，通过收集油中金属屑来发现磨损故障。喷嘴为直流式，高速轴承可以从轴承内环钻孔供油。油气分离器通常带有高速旋转转子，靠离心力将油和气分开。气较轻，可从转子中腔引往油箱上方。还有一种静止的板式油气分离器。散热器是用燃油或空气冷却滑油的装置。 滑油系统分为闭式和开式两种。在闭式润滑系统中，散热后的滑油全部返回油箱，可继续冷却。在有的润滑系统中，散热后的滑油直接流向增压泵进口处，不返回油箱。在开式润滑系统中,用过的滑油全部排往机外,可省去回油泵等附件,但耗油增大,适于短时工作的发动机。 润滑系统用的工作介质是润滑剂，航空发动机上使用的油类润滑剂又称滑油。滑油有矿物油和合成油两类（见润滑材料）。
