多基因信使RNA分子式:CAS号:性质:在原核细胞染色体中,凡功能上相关的蛋白质的结构基因往往连接在一起而形成一个基因簇,并受同一个启动子的控制,转录与翻译又是偶联在一起。多基因信使RNA实际上就是在依赖于脱氧核糖核酸(DNA)的RNA聚合酶的催化下,转录这一基因簇而产生的一个多顺反子mRNA或一个操纵子的mRNA。从这一意义上讲,一些RNA病毒属多基因信使RNA。如在大肠杆菌中色氨酸操纵子,它具有7×103核苷酸长度的mRNA,其内含有编码5种与色氨酸合成有关的酶蛋白,在翻译时各种酶蛋白各由自己的起始与终止的密码子分别控制其合成的起始与终止。
