构造煤  煤层受构造应力作用,原生结构、构造受到强裂破坏而产生碎裂、揉皱、擦光面等构造变动特征的煤。其含义与岩石学中的构造岩相对应。由于煤抵抗变形的强度远低于其围岩,故在煤系构造变形过程中煤层发生强烈破碎,或形成构造滑动面,并形成不协调褶曲,促使煤进一步破碎和流动。    按照煤的破碎程度,构造煤可分为 3种:①碎裂煤。被密集的、相互交叉的裂隙切割而成的碎块,碎块呈尖棱角状,相互之间没有大的移位和移动,仅在剪性裂隙面上煤被磨成细粉,并形成镜面,显微镜下还可以从碎裂煤中看到大量的微裂隙。②碎粒煤。是煤层受到应力作用后已完全破坏了煤的原生结构、构造,破碎成粒状,并被重新压紧后的煤。在构造活动中,颗粒相互摩擦失去棱角,粒径在1毫米以上。③碎粉煤(糜棱煤)。是煤层受到构造应力作用后,颗粒相互摩擦而成,粒径在1毫米以下。碎粒煤和碎粉煤都是煤在褶皱过程中,在顶底板岩石之间发生顺层流动,碎粒之间相互摩擦形成的。    构造煤的特征,除破碎外经常存在着构造镜面、揉皱构造(部分保留原生层面)、揉皱镜面以及鳞片状构造等。强变形的构造煤在显微镜下可见到煤粒的定向排列和构造流动引起的微形揉皱。在描述时根据构造特征,将上述按破碎程度划分的构造煤进一步划分为鳞片状碎粒煤、具揉皱镜面碎粉煤等。    较高煤级的煤受强构造应力作用时会产生光学异向性,可通过测定镜质体反射率确定,并据此推断古构造应力场。在显微镜下可在煤粒中见到构造作用引起的波状消光。    构造煤化的煤层在厚度和产状上都有强烈变化,构造煤的识别有助于查明煤层变化原因,发现加厚带和变薄带的延展方向,推断构造应力场。    参考书目   武汉地质学院煤田教研室编:《煤田地质学》(上册),地质出版社,北京,1979。   E.斯塔赫等著,杨起等译:《斯塔赫煤岩学教程》,煤炭工业出版社,北京,1990。(E.Stach et al.,Stach,s Textbook of Coal Petrology,Gebrüder Borntraeger,Berlin,Stuttgart,1982.)
