胰岛胰岛islets of pancreas  胰腺的内分泌部分,是分散在胰腺中的不规则的细胞群。胰岛至少有三种细胞:A(或α2)细胞分泌胰高血糖素;B(或β)细胞分泌胰岛素;近来又发现一种细胞,称为D(或δ或α1)细胞,它在正常情况下分泌生长激素释放抑制激素。D细胞增生或发生肿瘤时,分泌大量胃泌素,称为胃泌素瘤。可引起胃酸分泌过多的消化性溃疡。胰岛这些细胞紧靠在毛细血管上,所分泌的激素,通过毛细血管壁渗入血液内,有调节糖代谢的作用。
