热力平衡 在不受外界影响的条件下热力系统的性质不随时间而变化的一种状态。热力学主要研究系统的稳定平衡状态。 单元系的复相平衡 单元系是指含有一种化学成分的物质系统。若系统各部分的性质相同，则称为均匀系或单相系；若系统各部分之间有边界分隔，则称为复相系。如水和水蒸汽共存时即为单元二相系。 热力平衡状态根据热力学定律有 3种判据。①熵判据：对于一个孤立系统,在其各种可能出现的状态中,稳定平衡状态的熵最大。②亥姆霍兹函数判据：热力系统在温度和容积不变的情况下，在各种可能出现的状态中，稳定平衡状态的亥姆霍兹函数最小。③吉布斯函数判据：系统在温度和压力不变的情况下，在各种可能出现的状态中，稳定平衡态的吉布斯函数最小(见热力状态参数)。 一个热力系统可发生4种变化过程，相应地有4种平衡条件。①在系统各部分之间有热交换时，达到平衡的条件称为热平衡条件。②系统各部分之间有力的相互作用时，达到平衡的条件称为力平衡条件。③在复相系中，相变过程达到平衡的条件称为相平衡条件。④系统内发生化学反应时，达到平衡的条件称为化学平衡条件。 系统的平衡条件是应用热力学的平衡判据推得的。首先，应用熵判据可推得热平衡条件──系统各部分温度相等。相变过程通常是在等压等温下进行的，故可用吉布斯函数判据推得单元系的相平衡条件为两相的化学势相等。 多元系的复相平衡 若一系统中含有化学成分不同的物质，则称为多元系，每一种化学成分称为一个组元。例如,盐水溶液是二元系，盐和水各为一个组元。对由k个组元、嗞 个相组成的多元系的复相平衡条件来说，其中每一相都有自己的状态函数，一般将相号和组元号分别标在各量的右上角和右下角，如第1组元第相的化学势则用μ坹表示。在热平衡和力平衡的前提下，用吉布斯函数判据，可导出多元系的复相平衡条件为 上式的物理意义是：在一定温度和压力下，多元系各相达到平衡时，每一组元在各相的化学势相等。
