木质素分子式:CAS号:性质:又称木质或木素。存在于植物纤维中的一种芳香族高分子化合物。在植物组织中具有增强细胞壁及黏合纤维的作用。其组成与性质比较复杂,并具有极强的活性。不能被动物所消化,在土壤中能转化成腐殖质。如果简单定义木质素的话,可以认为木质素是对羟基肉桂醇类的酶脱氢聚合物。它含有一定量的甲氧基,并有某些特性反应。木质素是植物细胞壁的主要组成部分。纸浆中根据所含木质素量可化学浆约15%,机械木浆几乎含有全部。它还用于制备香兰素和二甲基亚砜,也可用作鞣料或胶黏剂等。用浓酸溶解植物纤维和用碱提取木质素。前者以72%硫酸溶解,经有机溶剂提取后,使木质素沉淀而了。后者以烧碱溶液在170~180℃高温下处理试料,提取木质素,在提取液中加酸酸化而沉淀分离。化学品或合成树脂反应可得相应的木质素树脂。
