文艺欣赏 人对文学艺术作品的认识和情感体验过程。根据被欣赏作品的形式和内容以及欣赏主体的兴趣、目的、认识水平和情感倾向等的不同，欣赏可能侧重于认识过程，也可能侧重于情感体验过程。欣赏过程首先是对某一文艺作品的持续注意。比如一首五言律诗，看一遍只需10秒钟左右，但这不是欣赏。欣赏必然是调动了感知、想象、思维、情感诸种心理因素,对作品长时间地审视、聆听,是把语言、线条色彩、音符旋律还原为艺术形象,引起自身心理共鸣的过程。文艺欣赏的第一步是通过感觉器官取得对作品的艺术感知，再经过神经传导系统，在大脑形成相应的兴奋中心。第二步是要使静止的形象运动起来,使人物形象、景物活动起来,使形象、思想、感情综合起来，这就是艺术想象。此外还要理解艺术形象之间的联系，理解人物事件的前后联系，理解形象蕴育的含义，懂得多种艺术手法所表达的确切含义，对艺术作品中的形象以及艺术作品本身做出好坏优劣、美丑善恶的评价，这就必须进行思考、判断等思维活动。在感知、想象、思维的过程中，必然调动起欣赏者个人的知识经历，渗透其喜厌好恶，产生复杂的情绪体验，这便是情感因素在艺术欣赏中的作用。一般说来，对一件作品的欣赏，有感受和理解两个阶段。感受是溶理性于感性,化想象、感情于直观,积历史于现实的审美直觉。理解则是思索所感受的事物并对它进行理性的评价、改造的过程。它一方面是对作品的再感知，是情绪的再体验，另一方面也是理性的再渗透，是形象向抽象的逐渐过渡。这种过渡可能由于年龄和思维水平的不同而表现出不同的层次。 欣赏活动既与被欣赏对象的性质、特点相联系，又与主体的生活经验、思想情感、欣赏能力相联系。如看喜剧常使人发笑；看悲剧常使人流泪。这是受欣赏对象性质和特点的影响。又如同样一派秋色、长天，在画家眼里是一幅画；在诗人眼里是一首诗；在音乐家的心目中则是一支和谐的乐曲。这是欣赏对象相同，而主体经验、思想、专业领域、兴趣爱好不同，反映的结果也不同。艺术欣赏并不是单纯接受，欣赏过程也是再创造的过程。欣赏者常常是借作者之言表达自己的心声，借作者之笔抒自己的感情。因此，欣赏也就不可能完全符合创作者的初衷。艺术欣赏是把文艺作品或艺术活动与读者、观众联系起来的一个中间环节。艺术欣赏能够使艺术作品所具有的潜在的社会功能转变为现实。
