禽白血病  一组由反录病毒科(Retroviridae)肿瘤病毒亚科(Oncovirinae) C型肿瘤病毒属(Oncovirus C)中的禽白血病/肉瘤群或禽RNA肿瘤病毒引起的造血系统肿瘤疾病。包括淋巴细胞性白血病、成红细胞性白血病、成髓细胞性白血病(髓细胞瘤病)、肉瘤和骨质石化病等疾病种类。主要侵害鸡。尤以由禽白血病/肉瘤群病毒感染的淋巴细胞性白血病(简称LL)最为重要(其他类型的白血病或肿瘤通常发生较少)。该病即俗称的"大肝病",又名内脏型淋巴瘤病,是一种恶性肿瘤病(癌)。其特征是鸡群逐渐发病,在法氏囊中产生肿瘤,然后转移到许多别的内脏器官特别是肝、脾、骨中去,肝常呈肿大。各种年龄的鸡都可发生,但仅在鸡接近性成熟时才表现临诊症状。病的分布是世界性的。死亡率虽一般不超过5~6%,但由于其对鸡生长发育和产蛋量的影响,能造成相当可观的经济损失。病毒能经蛋传递,对鸡的育种工作也是巨大威胁。    本病早在1868年就被发现,但在长达半个世纪的期间内一直和鸡的另一个由疱疹病毒引起的肿瘤病即马立克氏病混淆,直到1967年左右才彻底弄清这两种肿瘤在病理组织学上的差别。根据病鸡的年龄、鸡群的发病经过、死亡率、肉眼病变,包括外周神经和神经节的病变(后者发生于马立克氏病,而本病则没有)和病理组织学检查结果,可作出初诊。确诊须借助于实验室诊断,包括病毒的分离和鉴定。至今尚无药物可以治疗,也无疫苗可供免疫。为防止通过鸡蛋传播本病,预防措施之一是切断它的垂直传递,建立无本病的核心种鸡群。这种措施也可有条件地应用于商品鸡群。
