乙酰丙酮 又称二乙酰基甲烷。为丙酮的一种衍生物,分子式CH3COCH2COCH3。乙酰丙酮是一个亚甲基把两个羰基连在一起的一种饱和二元酮,这类酮通常称为β二酮。乙酰丙酮是最简单的β二酮。 乙酰丙酮为无色液体;具有好闻的气味;熔点-23°C,沸点139°C(746毫米汞柱),相对密度0.9721(25/4°C);微溶于水,易溶于乙醇、氯仿等有机溶剂。 乙酰丙酮通常会是烯醇式和酮式的两种互变异构体(见互变异构)的混合物,两者处于动态平衡中,其中烯醇式异构体在分子内形成氢键: 将乙酰丙酮的石油醚溶液冷至-78°C,可分离出固体的烯醇式异构体,熔点为-9°C。此异构体于室温放置,很快又转变成上述的平衡混合物。 乙酰丙酮与三氯化铁水溶液作用,显深红色;与金属钠反应,产生氢气和乙酰丙酮钠: 后者与卤代烃或酰卤可发生碳或者氧上的取代反应。乙酰丙酮几乎与所有的金属氢氧化物、碳酸盐或乙酸盐反应,生成金属络合物,通式为(C5H7O2)nM,M为金属,n为金属离子的价数。此类化合物多数是稳定的固体,如铝、铍、铬、钪、钍等金属衍生物等,可溶于有机溶剂中,在常压下蒸馏也不分解。乙酰丙酮在日光照射下与氯反应,只生成两个甲基上氢被取代的产物(结构式如)。制备乙酰丙酮的较好方法是丙酮在金属钠作用下与乙酸乙酯缩合(见缩合反应),或在三氟化硼作用下与乙酸酐缩合。乙酰丙酮是有机合成的原料,其金属衍生物有些可作为汽油或润滑油的添加剂和农药等。
