王弼王弼(226~249)£中国三国时期魏国玄学家。字辅嗣。山阳高平(今山东金乡)人。据何劭《王弼传》载,王弼十多岁时,即“好老氏,通辩能言”。他曾与当时许多清谈名士辩论各种问题,以“当其所得,莫能夺也”,深得当时名士的赏识。王弼为人高傲,“颇以所长笑人,故时为士君子所疾”。王弼的哲学思想核心是“以无为本”,与老子的“道生一,一生二,二生三,三生万物”的宇宙生成论不同,带有思辨玄学的色彩。他把老子的宇宙生成论发展为有无何以为本的本体论玄学。他认为“万物万形,其归一也。何由致一?由于无也”。这样,中国式的形而上之学在王弼手中已具雏形。王弼的贵无论对后世宋明理学影响很大,他的玄学对佛教中国化、本土化也起了重要作用,其“得意忘象”的思考方法对中国古代诗歌、绘画、书法等艺术理论也有一定影响。著有《老子道德经注》2卷,《周易注》1卷,《论语释疑》3卷,《王弼集》5卷,《周易大衍论》1卷,《老子指略例》2卷等。现多佚。中华书局1980年出版《王弼集校释》。
