俞平伯俞平伯(1900～1990)中国诗人，散文家，学者。原名铭衡，字平伯。原籍浙江德清，生于苏州。1915年考入北京大学文科。1919年毕业后，先在江浙一带教书，1924年起定居北京，执教于燕京大学、清华大学、北京大学等。50年代后，长期在中国社会科学院文学研究所任研究员。他在五四时期积极参加新文学运动，是新潮社、文学研究会、语丝社成员。最初以写诗为主，有诗集《冬夜》、《西还》、《忆》等，大多是写景抒情之作，以清新婉曲见长。后来致力于散文创作，著有散文集《剑鞘》（与叶圣陶合著）、《杂拌儿》、《燕知草》、《杂拌儿之二》和《燕郊集》等。抒情写景作品，情思飘忽，文笔委婉。有些虽是考据、序跋之作，也能夹叙夹议，情理交融，饶有风致。他有意追随明代人小品文，与周作人的文风较为接近。他长期从事古典文学研究。其《红楼梦辨》初版于1923年，是新红学派的代表作之一；1952年修订，改题为《红楼梦研究》再版后在学术界有一定的影响。曾引起学术界广泛的批评和讨论。他关于古典文学的其他论著，大多收入《论诗词曲杂著》。中国现代作家选集丛书《俞平伯》封面
