陈衍陈衍(1856~1937)中国近代诗人。字叔伊,号石遗。福建侯官(今福州市)人。光绪八年(1882)举人。二十四年在京城参与维新活动,提倡变法。清亡后,与章太炎、金天翮倡办国学会,任无锡国学专修学校教授。陈衍通经史训诂之学,长于作诗。他与郑孝胥同为闽派诗的领袖,提倡三元说,即认为古近体诗3个演变阶段,第一个高峰是在唐玄宗开元年间,第二个高峰是在唐宪宗元和年间,第三个高峰是在宋哲宗元祐年间。清代同治、光绪年间,继承了三元诗风的是他们极力标榜的同光体。他一生宣扬同光体的成就,对近代旧诗坛发生过广泛的影响。陈衍的诗,着重学王安石、杨万里,笔法曲折独特,骨力清健。著有《石遗室丛书》、《石遗室诗话》、《石遗室论文》、《史汉文学研究法》等。又选有《近代诗钞》24册。
