一种基于双折射偏振分束器的矢量光束产生装置的制造方法
【技术领域】
[0001]本实用新型涉及一种基于双折射偏振分束器产生矢量光束的装置,属于矢量光束技术领域。
【背景技术】
[0002]近年来,越来越多的研究开始涉及到偏振态空间非均匀分布的矢量光束,因为人们发现这种矢量光束具有一些均匀偏振的标量光场所不具备的特殊性质(参见文献1-4)。矢量光束的特殊性质已经在超分辨聚焦成像(参见文献5和6)、表面等离激元激发(参见文献7和8)、光学微操纵(参见文献9-12)、激光微加工(参见文献13和14)等领域显示了其重要的实际应用价值。
[0003]由于多数商品激光器只能够输出简单模式的激光,因此如何将它们转变成同时具有特定偏振分布和特定复振幅分布的矢量光束成为许多实际应用中的一个难题。为解决这一难题人们已经做了大量工作并提出了许多实现途径。这些途径大致可分为基于常规光学元件的静态转换技术(参见文献15-17)和基于可程控的空间光调制器的动态转换技术(参见文献18-33)。而后者由于具有可动态程控的优点更令人感兴趣并得到广泛应用。产生任意矢量光束通常需要同时调控两个正交偏振态的复振幅分布。文献5以及文献18-21采用了两个独立的SLM来达到这一目的;而文献22-31所采用的系统则由一个SLM和一个可以实现双通道偏振分离和重组的光学系统构成。
[0004]最近,文献32和文献33提出了两种基于渥拉斯顿棱镜的任意矢量光束生成方法和装置,但文献33的方法只能用于生成一些特殊的矢量光束,例如偏振漩涡;而文献32的方法则需要在光路中插入非偏振分束器,从而使能量利用率大大降低。
[0005]综上所述,如何采用简单的方法和装置高效率生成任意矢量光束仍然是该技术领域亟待解决的一个问题。
