COD分子式:CAS号:性质:简称COD,指用氧化剂氧化水中的需氧污染物质时所消耗的氧量,是表示水中需氧的污染物质含量的重要综合指标。该值越高,说明水中的需氧物质越多,污染程度越大。化学需氧量与生化需氧量的区别在于:后者是通过生物化学作用进行氧化,有机物等被氧化分解的速度较慢;而前者是通过氧化剂进行化学氧化,速度较快,用较短时间即可得到检测数据。化学需氧量用10-6或mg/L表示。我国工业废水排放标准规定,在工厂排出口的废水中,化学需氧量(重铬酸钾法)最高容许浓度为100mg/L。
